You must try this wonderful Dutch dessert! Made by request for my Dutch customers at the Irvine farmers market (dankuwel), this decadent treat is reminiscent of an almond croissant with tender, buttery and rich almond flavors. Topped with toasted almonds, it can be served in wedge slices and freezes beautifully. Lekkerste!

This is a phenomenal dessert - perfect amount of almond and just the right delicate texture. By far, one of my favorites! Very pleased!!
