An old-fashioned muffin that’s the perfect size for a nice little breakfast with your poached egg and coffee. And so delicious when warmed with a pat of rich European butter. Wheat bran is softened in honey and buttermilk with ground raisins and orange gold for a kick of sunshine. Store in the freezer to extend your enjoyment. A Van de Kamp’s favorite!

Ingredients: flour, sugar, wheat bran, olive oil, honey, buttermilk powder, ground raisins, orange gold (sugar, oranges, lemons), eggs, baking soda, salt
My mom use to buy these at Market Basket when I was young. They were the best bran muffins ever. I was a little shocked how small they were when I received them and thought that I would not buy them again. BUT after tasting one, I will buy them again. They are not as big or as dark colored and you can't see raisins on them like I remember as a kid. They taste very good and I will definitely be purchasing more bran muffins from Van De Kamps. Now to try the blueberry lemon cake.😀
The Bran Muffins were sensational! They are moist, flavorful, and freeze beautifully! A wonderful supplement to breakfast or as a light afternoon snack.
Could not find bran muffins or a bran muffin mix anywhere. Remembered Van deKamps from my childhood days in Pacific Palisades. On a whim searched the internet and what a blessing to find they are back doing business. Bran muffins were over the top outstanding.
